Measure Notes Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Measure Notes: Size Tracker (the “App”) handles information. The App lets you record measurements you have taken manually on photos. It does not automatically measure real-world dimensions. The developer can be contacted at weimaraner.logan.choi@gmail.com.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information in its private storage on your device:

Place labels are text you enter. The App does not request precise location or GPS access. Your photos and measurement records are not uploaded to a developer-operated server or sent as advertising or developer-defined Analytics event data. The App has no user accounts or developer-operated cloud synchronization. Information processed by Google's SDKs is described separately below.

2. Photo Access, Saving, and Sharing

The App uses Android's system photo picker or an external camera app. It does not request camera permission or broad access to your photo library. Imported photos are re-encoded into the App's private storage without retaining the source photo's EXIF location metadata.

When you choose to save or share images, the App creates JPEG files, with or without measurement overlays according to your selection. Saved files are written to your device's gallery or a folder you choose. Sharing gives the external app you select temporary access to those files. Exported images, file names, or folder names may contain photo or album names and other information you chose to include. The receiving app or storage provider handles that information under its own privacy policy.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display home-screen banners, interstitial ads at eligible transitions after photo work, and optional rewarded ads. One basic album is free. You can choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn one additional album-creation credit; this is an in-app benefit, not cash.

Google's advertising services may collect and process the following information for advertising, measurement, service operation, fraud prevention, and security:

The App does not attach your photos, names, notes, measurement values, file paths, credit balances, or photo-registration counters to ad requests. See the Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure and Google Privacy Policy for Google's processing practices.

4. Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand feature usage and improve app reliability and advertising and reward flows. When collection is allowed under the applicable privacy state, developer-defined events describe:

Event details are limited to categories such as screen, app language, measurement unit, photo source, advertising format and placement, outcome, and numeric error code. A sharing result records the handoff to Android, not whether the receiving app completed sharing. These events do not include photo contents, album or photo names, place labels, notes, measurement values or line positions, search text, file paths or URIs, local record or ad-attempt identifiers, credit balances, or photo-registration counters.

Google's SDKs may also process app-instance or installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, session and interaction information, and approximate geographic information. Firebase installation components may process installation identifiers and technical metadata for service operation. Advertising revenue may be measured when an AdMob–Firebase integration is configured. See Google Analytics data practices and Firebase privacy information.

5. Privacy Choices

The App checks the applicable privacy state through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Where required and available for your region, a privacy message lets you make choices about advertising and Analytics processing. Where UMP requires a privacy-options entry, you can revisit these choices in Settings → Ad privacy choices.

Analytics collection starts disabled while this state is checked. It is enabled only when the applicable state permits Analytics storage. Where consent is required, this depends on the relevant consent choice; where UMP confirms consent is not required, collection may be enabled. If permission is denied, withdrawn, or cannot be established, Analytics collection remains disabled or is stopped. Developer-defined events for actions taken while collection is disabled are discarded rather than queued for later sending.

Advertising permission and Analytics permission are handled separately. Disabling Analytics does not itself disable every Google SDK request: consent and other technical service requests may still occur. Your existing local records remain usable without Analytics collection. Additional albums obtained through rewarded ads depend on ad availability.

You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings where those controls are available. Changing privacy choices affects future processing and does not automatically delete information already processed by Google.

6. Retention, Deletion, and Security

Your local records remain in the App until you delete them, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall it. Deleting an album or photo removes its associated record and internally stored photo copies. App-owned records and settings are excluded from Android automatic backup. Temporary sharing files may be removed by the App or Android.

Deleting records or uninstalling the App does not delete original photos outside the App, exported files saved in your gallery or chosen folder, or copies held by other apps or storage providers. You manage those copies through the relevant app or provider.

Google advertising and Firebase services encrypt their data in transit using TLS or HTTPS. Retention and deletion of information processed by Google depend on the service, Google's policies, and applicable service settings. Local deletion or consent withdrawal does not automatically erase that previously processed information. Google may process information on servers outside your country, as described in its Privacy Policy. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

7. Contact and Privacy Requests

If you email the developer, your email address and the information you choose to send will be used to respond to your inquiry and address the matter you raise. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. This is separate from the App's automatic SDK processing.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. For questions or requests about this App, contact weimaraner.logan.choi@gmail.com. We do not hold a server-side copy of your local photos or measurement records. For information handled by Google, also consult the controls and contact options in the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the App's features or information-handling practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
